Good accessory for PriusAugust 19, 2010 JED Because this device has 0.01 volt resolution, you can better detect a weakening battery when switching on small loads, with the Prius hybrid system OFF. (The Prius' built-in navigation display voltmeter has only 0.1 volt resolution.) A failed 12 volt auxiliary battery in a Prius will prevent you from being able to start the hybrid system. I have tested my friends' cars lately and detected a weak battery before they were stranded.
