This is by far the best cam i have had. The piture is so clear it is amazing. The Carl Zeiss Lens are amazing. It gives the pictures a digital camera affect. Video calls are also very clear. I would recommend this cam to everyone.

rec'd webcam from Amazon on time and in good order. However after installing software, camera wouldn't work. Called tech support ( foreign country--hard to understand) and finally determined Software out of the box was version 1.1----latest ver 2.1. After download from logitech new software did the trick. Using software had no instructions so your on your own. Happy with webcam---disappointed with Logitechs poor documentation. A lot of patience needed.

It's a great little webcam. I was surprised at all the features. Other reviewers have already gone into great detail so I'll tell you what I like: You can use it in widescreen. You can take a picture so easily and quickly. You can record yourself and email it. It has a handy sidebar with the features. The in-line microphone works great. It works great with many other applications including Skype. They have step by step vidoes on how to use all the features. All in all I'm very pleased for the price. You can do just about everything with this webcam. The stand seems heavy enough until you put the webcam on it so I would add a little extra weight to the stand. It comes with a soft bag. It would be better if it were a hard case. Even so I gave it 5 stars as this is a great webcam for the price.

Casserole
I bought this camera to use on skype, oovoo, and other video chats to talk to my friends and it was a great buy. It shipped surprisingly fast, and the package was in good condition. I read the directions first and did exactly what it said to do. Installation wasn't rocket science BUT I found that if you just plug the camera in, you're better off without the disc. For me the disc wasted a night of me uninstalling and reinstalling the software because the sound was faulty.
I've read about several people having the same issue with the sound, so to get around that issue you just need to uninstall and reinstall it without the time wasting software disc.
As far as quality goes, it's amazing. It's smooth and clear, even with dim lighting. The only problem with video quality I've had so far is when it is little to no lighting, the auto focus tends to go crazy and go out of focus so I just turn off auto focus.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase of this high quality product.
