 Product is good but shipping is ridiculous August 4, 2010

The product itself is good but the shipping charged here is ridiculous. I ordered 4 of these for $20.83 and the shipping and handling was $8.95. The box it came in is damaged and I'll be happy to put up a picture depicting how it was sent. The product is good but the overall price is NOT worth it. Not a recommended purchase from this merchant, especially for this high price.

My wrist was cramping and getting some pain in it, so I decided to give this gel flex a shot. Its very comfortable, but still took some getting used to. Now that I've used it for a couple of weeks, I don't really notice that its there and my wrist hasn't hurt since. I find that I don't want to use my mouse with out it. I'd recommend this as a fairly inexpensive fix to those that are prone to sore wrists.

I like this product enough that I have now ordered a replacement. It is very effective--supportive and comfortable. However, it is not very durable. The one I had lasted several months (whereas some other wrist rests lasted several years), then it split along the sides. That released a sticky gel that could be difficult to remove from some surfaces.

I initially bought the Belkin F8E244-BLK WaveRest Gel Wrist Pad and it was AWFUL. Within a couple months is had completely flattened out and was virtually useless. I bought this one next and have had it for about 6 months now and it is still totally functional and comfortable (it has flattened a little in the center, but no where near as flat as the Belkin product became and the slight concave dent that this one has now actually makes it a little more comfortable). If you are debating between the two, I STRONGLY recommend you give this one a try and avoid the Belkin product entirely. Hope that helps.
